Maranatha Christian School

Purpose and Goals

Maranatha Christian School, founded in 1976, is a ministry of Central Assembly Christian Life Center in Boise, Idaho. Maranatha Christian School is dedicated to leading students in Christian principles that will help develop a mature spiritual life.

Students at Maranatha are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects Christian values. The school is dedicated to serving students who desire to attend Maranatha Christian School, obey all those in authority, and have a desire to achieve academic excellence.

The faculty and administration of Maranatha Christian School, all of whom are prepared spiritually and academically for the task at hand, seek to provide students with a safe learning environment and a strong basic academic program that will promote excellence in education. Our goal is to prepare the whole student: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically (Luke 2:52). We desire to impart a Christian world view that will equip our students to live victorious, Christ-centered lives in a non-Christian culture. We strive to infuse into our nation’s workforce competent, productive members possessing high moral values.

Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, His vicarious an atoning death, in His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

The blessed hope of the rapture of the church at Christ’s return.

The only means of being cleansed from sin through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

Ordinances of the church, being baptized in water and communion.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit; believers are entitled and should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father.

Divine Healing; deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement.
