Dear Families,                                

We are actually heading into the final week of October - can it be??  After that "the Holidays" begin and don't stop, as we know, until January.

PARENT CONFERENCES are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 5th and 6th.  This means there is NO SCHOOL on those two days. Afternoon care will become full extended care with Ms. Nancy for both days. 

This is the only conference required for the year; of course you always have the option to book more, but this one is mandatory.  With 22 students and an appointment time of 30 minutes each, timing is tight.  If you simply cannot make it during these slots, please do contact me to set up another option for the following week.

A master schedule is available on my desk, and I'm afraid it is "first come, first booked" for openings.  Ideally, I would love to meet with both parents when possible.

Next week as you know is Red Ribbon Week, so remember to start out with CRAZY HAIR DAY on Monday.  Thursday, the day of our party, Kindergarteners do not need to have sports wear with them - only dress down.

Report cards go home Wednesday, November 4th. 

Also ALL REST MATS/ BLANKETS go home that same day for cleaning.

2 boxes (8ct) Crayola Washable Classic regular markers

2 boxes of 16 count Crayola crayons

1 Large bottle Elmer's Glue

1 Multi-pack small glue sticks

2 Watercolor paint sets

2 large boxes of Kleenex

2 packages Paper Towels (2 rolls each)

1 box quart size Ziploc bags

1 box gallon size Ziploc bags

1 box colored dry erase markers (NOT Crayola)

1 Large bottle Hand sanitizer (not soap)

1 pair 5" Fiskars scissors with metal blades and blunt tips

1 large spray bottle citrus or simple green all purpose cleaner (natural if possible)

1 ream of Copier/printer paper plain white

NOTE that NONE of these things need to be marked; they will be pooled for all classroom activities.
